We’re supporting a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Woking looking for a Production Engineer to join their team. This is a varied role offering exposure across product configuration, technical drawings, internal coordination and production routing. It would suit a graduate engineer or someone in the early stages of their engineering career looking to develop within a supportive environment.

The role involves working as part of a close-knit team, supporting products moving from customer enquiry through to production. Responsibilities will include:

  • Producing and updating 2D technical drawings using CAD software
  • Supporting technical responses to customer requirements
  • Coordinating internally with manufacturing and warehouse teams
  • Routing components through production processes
  • Supporting estimating activities linked to production time and resource planning
  • Preparing technical documentation where required
  • Working closely with internal teams to support delivery of projects

This is a varied position with strong interaction across departments rather than a purely desk-based design role.

We’re interested in candidates who:

  • Hold a degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or similar
  • Have gained some experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Have exposure to CAD (AutoCAD helpful but not essential)
  • Communicate confidently with colleagues across teams
  • Are organised, adaptable and keen to learn
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative environment
