An established and successful international business is seeking an experienced Senior IT Administrator to join its team in Surrey. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting a broad range of technologies across the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and developing the company's IT infrastructure, providing technical support, administering core business systems and helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the IT function. This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys working across multiple technologies, taking ownership of technical challenges and being involved in both support and systems administration activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing technical support across the business
- Supporting and administering Microsoft 365 environments
- Maintaining user accounts, permissions and security settings
- Troubleshooting infrastructure, networking and connectivity issues
- Supporting business-critical systems and applications
- Producing and maintaining technical documentation
- Assisting with system improvements and ongoing IT projects
- Working closely with colleagues across the organisation to resolve technical issues
About You
You will have previous experience within an IT support, systems administration or infrastructure role and be comfortable working across a varied technical environment. Experience in some or all of the following would be advantageous:
- Microsoft 365
- Active Directory / Azure AD
- SQL databases
- Windows environments
- Network administration and troubleshooting
- PowerShell or other scripting tools
- IT support and systems administration
The successful candidate will be a proactive problem solver with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for technology.
