A leading regional law firm, is seeking a Senior Associate (or Chartered Legal Executive) to join their growing Private Wealth Team in Richmond. This is a growth-focused position, created to provide additional senior support within the team and assist with the day-to-day management and supervision of team members.

About the Private Wealth Team:

The Private Wealth Team works with high-net-worth individuals, providing expertise across the full spectrum of private client matters. This includes Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, lifetime and succession planning, IHT and CGT planning, estate administration, and the creation, administration, and winding up of trusts.

Senior Associates manage their own caseloads, developing strong and trusted relationships with clients, while also playing a key role in supervising less-experienced team members. Given the breadth of the firm’s expertise in this area of law, this position will provide you with an excellent opportunity for further professional development and growth. You will also be encouraged to play an active role in the marketing and business development activities of the team.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in Private Wealth.
  • Typically, at least 7 years’ experience managing a private client caseload, though applicants ready to step into a Senior Associate role are encouraged to apply.
  • Motivated by taking on supervisory or management responsibilities and contributing to the development of a high-performing team.
  • Confident in communicating with clients, many of whom are dealing with sensitive or emotional matters.
  • Interest or experience in marketing and business development.
  • Empathetic, team-focused, and client centered, with a creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Open to flexible and hybrid working arrangements.
