Are you an experienced project lead or stakeholder engagement specialist with a strong understanding of the animal health, pharma, or life sciences sector ? We’re supporting a public sector client on a confidential and high-impact policy initiative and are looking for an individual who can confidently lead cross-sector engagement and drive the development of a strategic programme from within. This is a 12-month Temporary Assignment with potential for extension, with a hybrid working pattern (3 days onsite in the Woking/Weybridge area of Surrey). This is a visible, strategic role that will require someone capable of working with autonomy and credibility – comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, sector experts, and decision-makers across industry and government. The role will involve: Leading and coordinating the development of a structured programme of activity Engaging and aligning a diverse range of stakeholders Managing deliverables, timelines, and interdependencies Acting as a central point of contact and advocate for progress Bringing a logical, delivery-focused approach to policy work Communicating clearly and persuasively across professional boundaries We’re looking for someone who: Has experience managing complex action plans or cross-sector programmes Demonstrates strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills Can work independently while navigating evolving priorities Understands the animal health sector (e.g. veterinary, medical, pharmaceutical, or related background) Is comfortable facilitating conversations with senior leaders and experts Can advocate for delivery and inspire collaboration across organisational lines Brings a methodical, organised mindset with a bias for action You’ll be supported by a senior team who will provide strategic guidance, but we’re looking for someone who’s ready to step in and take the reins – with professionalism, initiative, and the ability to build momentum in a sensitive and evolving environment.
