This is what we want for our brands too, for consumers to be able to buy them wherever they go and for our customers to want them on their shelves. What kind of things will I be doing?
- Find new and look after existing convenience and wholesaler relationships is the primary purpose of this role.
- Develop customer specific activities delivering volume and profit whilst aligning to agreed strategies.
- Maintain and develop incremental sales growth from existing business and new product development opportunities.
- Plan and implement promotional activity aligned to the customer’s shopper base, collaborating with the Marketing team.
- Set and manage financial budgets for each account internally and externally.
- Forecast of customer volumes to assist total business planning accuracy.
- Input to the development of customer category plans to ensure maximum returns to ABUK.
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities.
What kind of thing have I done before?
- Experience in the impulse convenience channels is important, and you will have experience of managing key customers in this arena.
- You will have presented to and negotiated with different stakeholders in your previous roles.
- Drinks experience would be helpful but not essential.
