Amber Beverage UK is looking for a National Account Manager eCommerce to lead growth across Amazon and our wider online customer base. Amazon will be a major customer in this role, managed through Amazon Vendor Central / 1P. Amber sells directly to Amazon through purchase orders, with Amazon owning the stock and selling to the end consumer. This role is broader than Amazon. You will also build growth across pure play eCommerce, online drinks specialists, marketplaces, grocery.com and new digital retail platforms. This is a high-ownership role within our Off-Trade team. You will manage customer relationships, trading plans, promotional activity, digital shelf execution, retail media and full customer P&L performance.

Amber Beverage UK is not a one-brand business. We work with a brilliant portfolio across premium spirits, tequila, rum, gin, vodka, wine, no/low and cocktail ingredients. You will work with brands that give you proper commercial range: Stoli, elit Vodka, Fortaleza, El Tequileño, Flor de Caña, Portobello Road Gin, Lind & Lime Gin, Three Spirit, ODK and Faustino. That means Amazon and eCommerce customers have real stories to get behind. Premium tequila. Big vodka brands. Fast-growing rum. Rioja with scale. Modern gin. No/low brands with momentum. Cocktail ingredients that open up trade and consumer occasions. Amber also has the pace and feel of a challenger business. You will not be stuck maintaining a slow account plan. You will help shape the eCommerce channel, build new online customers, improve Amazon performance and bring great brands to life online. We are home-based with UK travel, but our London office in Covent Garden gives the team a strong central base for customer meetings, brand sessions, team days and time with our marketing, finance, operations and leadership teams. For the right person, this is a role with ownership, variety and proper visibility across the business.

What you’ll do

  • Manage Amazon Vendor Central / 1P trading, including purchase orders, forecasting, availability, pricing, shortages, chargebacks and profitability.
  • Build and grow relationships across Amazon, pure play eCommerce, online drinks specialists, marketplaces and grocery.com.
  • Own customer plans across volume, NSV, profit, margin, promotional activity and retail media.
  • Improve digital shelf execution across product content, imagery, A+ content, Brand Stores, search terms, pricing and online merchandising.
  • Track sales, availability, traffic, conversion, content quality, promotional ROI and customer profitability.
  • Lead trading reviews, promotional planning, customer negotiations and joint growth plans.
  • Work with marketing and brand teams to build online activation plans for NPD, gifting, seasonal events and key trading periods.
  • Manage retail media plans, including sponsored ads, customer media investment and agency performance where relevant.
  • Work with finance, operations, logistics and demand planning to improve forecasting, stock availability and service levels.
  • Identify new online customers and growth opportunities across premium spirits, wine, non-alcoholic and functional drinks.

What we’re looking for

  • Experience managing Amazon Vendor Central / 1P.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon purchase orders, forecasting, catalogue management, availability, chargebacks and deductions.
  • Experience managing eCommerce, pure play, marketplace or online retail customers.
  • Experience in FMCG, drinks, grocery, premium brands or a similar fast-moving category.
  • Strong commercial understanding of pricing, promotions, customer investment, P&L and ROI.
  • Good knowledge of digital shelf execution, online content and retail media.
  • Confident using data to build customer plans, trading reviews and selling stories.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple customers, projects and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial business.

What success looks like

  • Growth across Amazon and wider eCommerce customers.
  • New business gains across pure play and online retail.
  • Strong sales, profit, margin and customer service performance.
  • Better online visibility, content quality, conversion and availability.
  • Strong promotional and retail media ROI.
  • Lower avoidable Amazon chargebacks, shortages and deductions.
  • Accurate forecasting and stronger cross-functional planning.
  • Clear customer plans that support Amber Beverage UK and our brand partners.
