Early Years Educator with SEN experience for Oldbury

Ambassadors Resourcing is looking to recruit an experienced Level 3 Early Years Educator for an outstanding nursery in Oldbury. The role involves providing 1 : 1 support to a child with Down’s Syndrome. SEN experience is required, in addition to a current Paediatric First Aid certificate. The role starts in January 2026, and working hours will be 9 : 00am – 12 : 45pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Job Description

• The successful Nursery Practitioners will :
• Have a passion and commitment to supporting children who have SEN
• Be confident in building effective relationships with pupils on a 1 : 1 basis
• Be flexible, dynamic and compassionate, with excellent interpersonal skills
• Have strong behaviour management skills
• Have sound knowledge of the EYFS
• Encourage pupils to interact with others
• Encourage independence, helping the children with transition around the setting and personal care needs
• Promote and nurture the children’s development of creativity, problem solving, individuality, and self-confidence.
• Engage in excellent communication with the team and parents / carers
