Are you a passionate and creative communications expert? Do you have an eye for great content? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced and varied role? If so, then you might just be the Communications Manager we’re looking for at Milton Keynes Theatre.
Over the last 12 months we’ve worked on marketing and communications strategies for some of the biggest theatre shows on the UK touring circuit, including Mary Poppins, War Horse, & Juliet and Dear Evan Hansen. Not to mention our annual pantomime and visits from Welsh National Opera and Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures. Our programme also includes a range of drama, dance and comedy, as well as educational showcases and workshops from our in-house Creative Learning Team.
As the Communications Manager you’ll be the creative force elevating the profile of Milton Keynes Theatre, its blockbuster shows, vibrant Creative Learning programme, and distinctive food & beverage concepts. You’ll bring the theatre’s stories to life across owned and earned media, ensuring our audiences feel the magic long before the curtain rises.
You’ll lead standout communications campaigns across social media and regional press, championing visiting productions and driving excitement in the community. With a strong network of media contacts, partners, and internal teams at your fingertips, you’ll craft and deliver compelling social media and PR content that not only sparks conversation but boosts awareness, engagement, and ticket sales.
