Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for a full-time Company Manager to work on the reimagined One Part London production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Based on an original new story by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, this play by Jack Thorne received its world premiere in London’s West End at the Palace Theatre in summer 2016. After ten record-breaking years in the West End as a two-part theatrical event, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will evolve into its critically acclaimed, reimagined format, presented as a single performance this autumn.
Your duties and responsibilities will be those normally expected of a Company Manager on a first-class West End production. Candidates will require relevant hands-on professional experience in theatre, the ability to work under pressure, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong organisational and time management qualities.
We will provide any management, mental health, and first aid training as necessary. We are committed to a workplace that embraces diversity and inclusion. We particularly welcome and encourage applications from those currently underrepresented in our workforce.
Start Date: July/August 2026
Job Location: West End London.
Contract Type: A year-long contract in the first instance, then the contract will be rolling.
Salary: Weekly buyout rate as per SOLT/Equity Agreement.
Weekly Hours: 6 day working weeks (Tuesday to Sunday); 8 shows per week plus maintenance and understudy calls.
