You will report to the Head of Marketing & Communications and work closely with the rest of the Marketing & Communications team. The venue Marketing Manager will plan and deliver marketing campaigns that drive ticket sales and revenue for ATG Entertainment. They will serve as a key point of contact for producers & agency partners in the development and delivery of campaigns and be responsible for identifying sales opportunities to increase occupancy and revenue. This is a critical role in driving the increasing effectiveness of ATG Entertainment's marketing and is pivotal to our long-term growth strategy. This is a full-time role at 40 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
- Marketing Campaigns: Work in close collaboration with the rest of the venue marketing team to deliver impactful and effective marketing campaigns and support communications plans to drive sales for shows. Contribute to strategy and leverage audience insights provided by the central Data teams to deliver ever more successful local campaigns. Serve as a key point of contact for producers, marketing agencies and suppliers for the day-to-day needs of show campaigns and cultivate strong client relationships with all third parties. Be responsible for the delivery of the venues' seasonal brochures, requiring detailed proofing and an organised approach to turn them around within strict timelines and to a high standard. Be responsible for the creation or adaptation of assets for shows or venue initiatives and timely implementation of these across different media. Manage agency contacts in the creation and delivery of such assets. Maintain the show and theatre brand at all times, advocating for this across the organisation. Secure agreed sales and audience targets for ATG Entertainment and manage agreed campaign budgets and reporting. Ensure accurate and timely promotion of a high volume of show on-sale periods to maximise opportunity. Contribute and deliver marketing campaigns to drive ATG Entertainment's membership scheme, sponsorship commitments, food and beverage promotions, learning and outreach activity, and other ATG Entertainment campaigns as required. Constantly challenge and evolve campaigns to be more efficient and effective in reaching objectives.
- Audience & Sales Development: Collaborate with Revenue Management in constantly evaluating sales performance and considering initiatives and tactics to improve occupancy and average ticket price. Proactively identify and focus on shows that offer the greatest revenue opportunity. Collaborate with ATG Entertainment's Data & CRM team to identify underrepresented audience groups and work to redress through short and long-term strategies. Work with the Contact Centre to plan group sales campaigns to ensure successful growth and expand groups booker audiences.
- Reporting & Evaluation: Adhere to ATG Entertainment briefing, reporting and other key processes in order to ensure an efficient and consistent way of operating and learning across the company. Deliver robust and meaningful campaign evaluation to demonstrate the effectiveness of marketing activity. Analyse live campaign performance and share insights with other venues and central team to build understanding of tour performance and identify opportunities. Compile post-show sales analysis/reports and disseminate information across the organisation or with producers when required. Manage budget tracking with a focus on creating efficiencies and value for money in the deployment of resources.
- Management & Collaboration: Support the Head of Marketing & Communications in developing and motivating staff. Deputise in the Head of Marketing & Communications absence. Collaborate closely with Marketing & Communications team members and other venue departments to deliver coordinated activity. Work closely with ATG Entertainment's UK Marketing Team and other Central teams, providing key insights and supporting centrally-led initiatives. Be an active member of the ATG Entertainment marketing community by proactively contributing in community calls and cross-venue initiatives. Proactive and collaborative in working with ATG Entertainment's Account Director/Managers and other Central teams. Maintain good relationships with other Venues for marketing collaboration on shared tours, as well as broader cross-promotional tactical activity. Occasional off-site and evening work and events, interacting with external suppliers and stakeholders, representing the department and the company. Any other duties as reasonably requested to carry out.
