DresserSonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for a full-time, experienced Dresser to work on the London production of STRANGER THINGS: THE FIRST SHADOW.Written by Kate Trefry, an original story by the Duffer Brothers, Jack Thorne and Kate Trefry, directed by Stephen Daldry, co-directed by Justin Martin for the Phoenix Theatre and produced by Netflix and Sonia Friedman Productions.Responsibilities include working as part of the team in the maintenance, repair and alteration of all costumes on the production, to maintain the look of the production as designed. Other responsibilities include dressing performers prior to and during rehearsals and performances and other performance-related activities, working as part of an efficient and successful department and liaising with all other departments on the production and associated personnel.Candidates will require relevant hands-on professional experience in costume, high level of sewing skills, the ability to work under pressure and within a team and good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong organisational and time management qualities.Experience in theatre on a large scale production is desirable.Start Date: As soon as possible.Please Note: All applicants must be able to commit to the full contract and must have the right to work in the UK.Job Location: West End LondonContract Type: Fixed term for a year, then the contract will be rolling.Salary: Show/Rehearsal rate as per SOLT/BECTU Agreement.Weekly Hours: 6 day working weeks (Tuesday to Sunday); 8 shows per week plus maintenance and understudy calls.
