Firmly established in the cultural landscape of Edinburgh and Scotland, the Edinburgh Playhouse is the UK’s largest all seated theatre and plays host to some of the biggest names in live music, comedy and musical theatre. We are delighted to be hiring a Chef De Partie for our Café Bar Little Picardy. This is an opportunity to work under the renowned Edinburgh Playhouse and ATG Entertainment brands in a new and exciting way, bringing a sophisticated yet informal dining and drinks offering to Greenside Place.

As a Chef De Partie you will be expected to perform all relevant kitchen duties including but not limited to:

  • Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of all working areas
  • Preparing food to an exceptional standard
  • Supervising the junior members of the Kitchen team
  • Ensuring planning and preparation for service is completed in a prompt, organised and efficient manner
  • Be aware of booking levels and occupancies, ensuring the correct quantities of food are prepared to avoid unnecessary wastage
  • Promoting an effective and efficient communication culture by communicating clearly and calmly
