Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for an experienced Assistant Stage Manager (Book Cover) to work on the West End production of The Importance of Being Earnest , by Oscar Wilde, directed by Max Webster at the Noël Coward Theatre.
Your duties and responsibilities will be those normally expected of an Assistant Stage Manager (Book Cover) on a first-class West End production.
Previous experience as an ASM (Book Cover) on a busy West End play is essential. Stage Manager cover experience desirable. Skills required include attention to detail, the ability to stay calm under the pressure within a team in a busy live production environment, with good all-round technical and prop maintenance skills.

Job Location: Noël Coward Theatre, West End
Contract Type: Fixed term until Saturday 10th January 2026, or for the run of the Production, whichever shall be the shorter, subject to two weeks’ notice by the Producer as per the SOLT/Equity Agreement.
Salary: Weekly rate as per SOLT/Equity Agreement
Weekly Hours: 6 day working weeks (Monday to Saturday); 8 shows per week plus maintenance and understudy calls.
