TL;DR

We\'re building Ambar - the platform that collapses software development from years to weeks. It\'s a fundamental reimagining of how software gets built. You\'ll build the core platform that makes this possible.

Why Ambar?

Everyone\'s racing to make coding faster with AI. But coding is only a small part of building software. There\'s a lot more: business context, requirements, discovery, architecture decisions, integration patterns. We\'re building the system that handles all of it.

Ambar is a platform that helps humans and AI work together to collect business context, and convert it into running systems. We\'ve already used our approach to ship enterprise applications in weeks that typically take months. Now we\'re productizing it.

Work with the very best engineers and leave your mark on the next layer of abstraction for building software.

The Role

This role has principal-level scope from day one. Coding, architecting, communicating, and commercial awareness.

- Design DSLs that capture business logic without losing expressiveness

- Build the reconciliation engine that keeps business models, specifications, and code synchronized

- Create the semantic layer that understands what businesses actually do, not just what code they need

- Abstract the platform in such a way that humans do what they\'re good at, and LLMs too

- Establish example implementation frameworks for LLMs

- Define, redefine, and refine the interfaces through which our platform is used

What We\'re Looking For

You\'ve built systems that build systems. And you showed both great technical excellence as well as great taste that appealed to both engineers and business stakeholders. You think in abstractions but ship concrete solutions. You\'ve likely:

- Designed frameworks, platforms, or languages, not just used them

- Gone deep on compilers, interpreters, or similar foundational tech

- Solved problems where the solution required inventing new primitives

We\'re looking for evidence of exceptional technical judgment. Send us your hardest architectural decision and how you reasoned through it. The programming language doesn\'t matter.

How We Hire

- Intro call (30 min): We\'ll get to know each other and sync on what matters to both parties

- Technical conversation (2 hours): We\'ll discuss systems you\'ve built and problems you\'ve solved

- Paid final interview (3 hours): Real customer work, real problems, real impact, real compensation. You also have an option to take a paid trial (1-5 days) if you\'d like to get to know us better.

We decide fast. If you\'re exceptional, you\'ll have an offer within a week of starting the process.

- Salary Range: $150K-$250K

- Meaningful equity with transparent terms

- Premium health insurance

- Pension contributions (exceeding legal requirements)
