AMBAC International is hiring a Production Planner / Production Coordinator to support our Elgin, SC manufacturing facility. You’ll work closely with operations, supply chain, engineering, purchasing, and leadership teams to help ensure production schedules, materials, and workflows stay aligned.

What You’ll Do
- Develop and manage production schedules based on demand, capacity, and material availability
- Monitor inventory levels, work‑in‑progress, and material flow
- Partner with supply chain and purchasing teams to manage material needs and shortages
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems to track production performance and inventory accuracy
- Identify production bottlenecks and support operational problem‑solving
- Communicate production updates, risks, and recovery plans across teams
- Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
What You Bring
- 2–5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- ERP/MRP systems experience preferred
- Lean methodology experience
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and operate with professionalism and accountability
- Ability to operate managerially despite functioning as an individual contributor
- Veterans encouraged to apply

Schedule
Monday–Thursday approximately 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Occasional Fridays as necessary to support operational and business needs
