AMBAC International is looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our CNC, machining, grinding, and honing areas. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be responsible for keeping production running smoothly, mentoring employees, and ensuring high-quality output. This role starts as a weekday shift (Monday-Thursday, 10-hour days) and will transition to a weekend shift (Friday-Sunday, 12-hour days). We need someone excited about leading a team, improving processes, and fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and motivate a team of machinists, grinders, and technicians to meet production goals
- Lead, train, coach, and develop the team in CNC machining, grinding, and honing
- Focus on results - fix problems, maintain high quality, and ensure efficiency
- Continuous Improvement, using Open Book/Great Game and Lean Manufacturing principles
- Solve problems on the shop floor
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment that meets all safety regulations
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
- Experience with CNC machining, grinding, honing, or related processes preferred
- Strong leadership skills—someone who can coach, support, and inspire their team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across departments
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training, associate’s, or bachelor’s degree preferred
