We’re working with an established civil engineering contractor delivering highways and infrastructure works across the North West, supporting key framework contracts. They’re looking to bring in an experienced Project Manager to oversee schemes across Greater Manchester, Cheshire, and Merseyside.

This is a great opportunity to take ownership of projects within a busy and well-secured pipeline of long-term work.

The role:

  • Oversee projects from planning through to completion, ensuring safe and successful delivery
  • Develop and manage project programmes, resources, and budgets
  • Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders
  • Monitor project performance, costs, and timelines
  • Identify and manage risks to keep projects on track
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and environmental standards

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering / highways
  • Background delivering infrastructure, maintenance, or drainage schemes
