Are you an experienced Account Manager looking to take the next step in your career? Embrace the opportunity to join a leading Recruitment business specialising in Construction and Engineering. We are seeking a dedicated Account Manager to take over a busy civils desk and to be a key player for our team based in Warrington.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure vacancies are filled within agreed timelines and service levels
- Coordinate interview scheduling, feedback, and offer management
- Support onboarding and post-placement follow-up
- Ensuring each candidate has full right to work and compliance documents
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders
- Act as the main point of contact for client accounts
- Conduct regular client review meetings and service updates
- Understand client hiring plans, workforce challenges, and business objectives
- Ensure excellent customer service and account performance
- Weekly check-in’s with candidate and customer
- Weekly and monthly MI reporting
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts
- Upsell additional recruitment services such as RPO, MSP, contract staffing
- Support contract renewals and rate negotiations
- Help secure repeat business and long-term partnerships
- Manage and keep CRM system updated with daily changes
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in recruitment, account management, or staffing sales
- Civil engineering background
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and negotiation ability
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and priorities
- Experience working to targets and KPIs
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with CRM and ATS systems
- Professional in client facing environments
- Self motivated and target driven
Remuneration and Benefits:
- £28,000 - £32,000 per year depending on experience
- Competitive commission structure
- 25 days a year, plus bank holidays
