AMB Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a long-established specialist roofing contractor who are looking to bring a Contracts Manager into their team. They’ve got a strong pipeline of work, a solid reputation in the market, and a genuinely down-to-earth culture, the kind of environment where you’re trusted to get on with the job without unnecessary micromanagement.
The Role
You’ll be overseeing roofing projects (both flat and pitched) from start to finish, ensuring jobs are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing multiple live roofing projects (flat & pitched)
- Overseeing site teams and subcontractors
- Planning labour, materials and programme
- Attending regular client and site meetings
- Ensuring all H&S procedures are followed
- Managing budgets, variations and project documentation
What They’re Looking For
- Experience across flat and pitched roofing (felt, liquid, single-ply, tiles/slates etc.)
- Strong site and client management skills
- Organised, reliable and confident running multiple projects
- Background as a Contracts, Site or Project Manager within roofing
- Full UK driving licence
What’s On Offer
- £45,000 – £60,000 depending on experience
- Company car / allowance, holidays, pension
