AMB Recruitment Group, a leader in the recruitment industry, is looking for an experienced and detail-driven Payroll Manager to join our dynamic team. This is your chance to bring your payroll expertise to a thriving business and help shape the future of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process end-to-end payroll for a diverse workforce
- Collect and verify timesheets from clients and workers, ensuring timely submission
- Accurately calculate and distribute wages, bonuses, taxes, and deductions
- Stay up-to-date with payroll legislation and ensure full compliance
- Generate and distribute sales invoices efficiently
- Liaise with the Credit Control department to address and resolve invoice queries efficiently, ensuring timely payment processing and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and submit payroll reports and tax filings
- Oversee and optimise payroll systems (XERO) and processes
- Compile and analyse management information and profit reports, providing insights to support strategic decision-making and financial planning
- Work with IT to implement system improvements
- Resolve payroll queries and discrepancies efficiently
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Manager (ideally in the recruitment sector)
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax codes, and employment law
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in payroll software (XERO) and Microsoft Office
- Clear, confident communication and stakeholder management skills
