We’re looking for a Structured Cabling Engineer to support the delivery of smart building projects across London, working within commercial offices, studios, and data centre environments.
The role centres around the installation and support of copper and fibre cabling infrastructure, while also providing exposure to a range of modern building technologies such as wireless networks, IoT devices, AV systems, and electronic security. You’ll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered to a high technical standard, from initial install through to testing, fault finding, and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities- Carry out installation and termination of copper and fibre cabling systems
- Deliver structured cabling solutions across commercial and technical environments
- Install containment systems including conduit, basket, tray, and trunking
- Install and connect network hardware within cabinets and comms rooms
- Deploy smart building devices such as wireless access points, IoT sensors, AV and security equipment
- Conduct testing and certification using Fluke equipment
- Assist with system commissioning, diagnostics, and fault resolution
- Maintain accurate paperwork and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
- At least 3 years’ experience within structured cabling or ICT infrastructure
- Solid background in copper and fibre installations
- ECS or CSCS card
- Industry qualification (BICSI, CNet or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- Self-sufficient with a strong hands-on approach
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working across different environments and sites
- Motivated to develop into broader smart building technologies
- Salary up to £40,000
- Standard 40-hour working week
- Overtime and occasional weekend work
- Training, development and certification support
