We’re hiring a Structured Cabling Engineer to join a leading smart building technology provider, delivering high-quality infrastructure across commercial offices, studios, and data centres. This is a hands-on role focused on copper & fibre installations, with the opportunity to build experience across wider smart building technologies including IoT, Wi-Fi, AV, and security systems. You’ll be working on varied projects across multiple sites, supporting full lifecycle delivery from installation through to maintenance and fault finding. Key Responsibilities
- Install, terminate and test copper (Cat5e/6/6A) and fibre (OS1/2, OM3/4/5) cabling
- Deliver structured cabling projects across commercial environments
- Install containment (tray, basket, trunking, conduit)
- Rack, stack and patch network equipment (switches, routers, servers)
- Install devices including Wi-Fi APs, IoT sensors, AV and security systems
- Test using Fluke equipment and ensure compliance with standards
- Support commissioning, maintenance, and fault finding
- Complete documentation and follow H&S procedures
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in structured cabling / ICT infrastructure
- Strong copper & fibre installation experience
- ECS/CSCS card
- Relevant certification (BICSI, CNet or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence

Package
- Salary up to £40,000
- 40 hours per week
