Multiskilled Operative (Joinery Bias) Location: Mobile, covering the North West (Liverpool, Manchester, Cheshire and up to Blackpool) Rate: £15 to £19 per hour, depending on experience, plus overtime Package: Company van, fuel card, weekly pay, 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm Contract: Permanent The Company We're working with an established construction and maintenance contractor with a directly employed facilities team and an in-house M&E operation. Their maintenance contracts cover a large hospitality estate and emergency services sites across the North West. Demand for joinery work is growing, so they're looking for a multiskilled operative with strong joinery skills to join the team permanently. The Role This is a mobile role and you'll start each day from home. Jobs are allocated to your tablet each morning, and you'll travel straight to your first site. Typical work includes: Reactive joinery repairs, such as doors, frames, ironmongery and skirting Small builds and fit-out jobs, such as benches and fixtures General multiskilled maintenance on commercial and hospitality sites Occasional project support further afield, always discussed and planned in advanceWhat You'll Need Strong joinery experience, ideally with fire door knowledge Multiskilled maintenance experience across other trades A full UK driving licence Your own hand tools (some tools are supplied) The ability to manage your own day and work independently on client sites A CSCS card is desirable but not essential Two referencesWhat's On Offer £15 to £19 per hour, depending on experience and competency Company van to take home and a fuel card Travel time can be claimed on your timesheet Weekly pay Overtime when available, paid at: Time and a half on weekday evenings and Saturdays Double time overnight and on Sundays 21 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays Pension Uniform provided A steady, mainly daytime role, with on-call work kept to a minimumIf you're a joiner or multiskilled operative looking for a permanent mobile role with a van, apply now and we will be in touch
