CAD Technician – Mechanical / Process

We are looking for an experienced **CAD Technician** to support the production and development of mechanical and process drawings across industrial / water-related projects.

The role

  • You will be responsible for producing, updating and amending technical drawings including:
  • P&IDs and process schematics
  • Mechanical layouts
  • Pipework and piping drawings
  • Pump and equipment layouts
  • General Auto CAD drawings
  • Drawing updates from engineering and site information
  • What we are looking for
  • Strong **Auto CAD** experience
  • Previous experience producing **P&IDs, schematics or mechanical/process drawings**
  • Good understanding of **pipework, pumps and mechanical equipment**
  • Experience within **water, wastewater, utilities, industrial or process environments**
  • Revit experience would be beneficial but is not essential
  • Background as a **CAD Technician, CAD Draughtsman, Mechanical Draughtsman or CAD Designer**

This would suit someone who is confident taking engineering information and turning it into accurate, clear technical drawings.
