A growing and well-established maintenance and projects contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to support a busy and expanding workload across commercial projects nationwide. This role would suit a hands-on Site Manager with a joinery background who is comfortable managing works across multiple sites, including night works and projects requiring travel.

The Role

  • Working closely with clients, subcontractors and internal teams, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from start to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the required standard.
  • Projects are typically delivered within live commercial environments, therefore strong organisation, communication and client-facing skills are essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing projects from mobilisation through to completion
  • Overseeing site teams and subcontractors
  • Managing health & safety on site
  • Ensuring works are delivered to programme
  • Conducting site inspections and quality checks
  • Liaising with clients and stakeholders
  • Managing project documentation and reporting
  • Coordinating labour, materials and plant requirements

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Site Manager
  • Joinery background essential
  • Valid SMSTS qualification
  • Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures
  • Experience working within refurbishment, fit-out, maintenance or construction environments
  • Ability to manage multiple trades on site
  • Comfortable with travel and working away when required
  • Comfortable overseeing occasional night works
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Package

  • Equivalent earnings of £50,000 - £55,000+
  • Paid on an hourly rate
