About the Role
As Business Development Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. You’ll develop solution-based proposals, build strong client relationships, and contribute directly to revenue growth and strategic targets.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth by securing new business across the UK and internationally
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities with key decision-makers
- Develop tailored proposals aligned with client objectives
- Monitor market trends, emerging sectors, and competitor activity
- Lead tender submissions and ensure all prerequisites are met
- Collaborate with operational teams to deliver seamless client experiences
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and promotional functions
- Produce detailed business reports including revenue forecasts, pipeline health, and conversion rates
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health & safety legislation and industry developments
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in a solution-based commercial role within a multi-service organisation
- Demonstrated success in building sales pipelines and winning new business
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of market competition
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation delivery
- Ability to use IT systems including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Spider, and Salesforce
Qualifications
- Full UK Driving License
- HND / BSc / BA or equivalent experience in a similar role
