The Role:
You’ll be the go-to for estimating across a range of structural repair and civil engineering projects, working closely with the Bid Writer and senior stakeholders to deliver accurate, commercially sound tenders. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed estimates and cost plans for structural repair and concrete-related works
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to gather pricing and technical input
- Collaborate with the Bid Writer to align pricing with strategic bid themes
- Attend site visits and client meetings to scope works and assess risks
- Support the development of estimating processes and tools as the division grows
- Contribute to project handovers and ensure smooth transition from pre-construction to delivery
About You:
- Proven experience estimating within civil engineering, structural repair, or concrete works
- Commercially astute with strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your workload
