Experienced Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer – Remote (UK)
AMB Recruitment are currently working with a specialist fire protection design company that partners with leading sprinkler contractors across the UK. Due to an increase in new and ongoing projects, they are looking to engage experienced Fire Sprinkler Design Engineers who want to focus purely on technical design work rather than team leadership or management.
About the Role
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys the technical detail of sprinkler system design. You will be responsible for producing accurate, compliant designs and working closely with project teams to support smooth delivery. The role allows you to work remotely, with occasional meet-ups when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing detailed fire sprinkler system designs
- Working with Revit, AutoCAD and BIM-related tools
- Completing hydraulic calculations
- Ensuring all designs comply with BSEN 12845, NFPA, FM Global and relevant fire protection standards
- Coordinating with contractors, project managers and other stakeholders to support project progression
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience designing fire sprinkler systems
