Are you an experienced water industry professional with a passion for developing others? We’re looking for a knowledgeable and engaging Trainer to deliver high-quality training and assessments within the water distribution discipline - No official training experience needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering training and assessments across the water distribution product area
- Working collaboratively with the Operational Training Manager to develop and maintain training materials, products, and facilities
- Liaising with the Quality Assurance and Audit team to support internal quality assurance (IQA) processes
- Supporting sales and marketing teams by responding to customer enquiries and providing technical insights
Essential Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in laying water services and mains for domestic, commercial, and industrial environments
- Experience in mains commissioning, including disinfection and pressure testing
- Safe Control of Mains Connections
- Proficiency in PE (Polyethylene) welding techniques
Desirable
- CITB Excavation Support for Timber Trenches and Shafts OR Utility Excavation Categories 1–5 (or equivalent)
- Experience installing, maintaining, and inspecting trench support and shaft systems during live digs
- Experience working with deep excavations (2m+)
- NRSWA Qualified to Supervisor level
- Level 3 Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, AET, or equivalent)
- Level 3 Assessor Qualification (CAVA or equivalent)
