Contracts Manager – Water £70,000–£90,000 DOE + car / car allowance, bonus & benefits North London / Essex / East Anglia Permanent Our client is a well-established specialist contractor working in concrete and structural repair, with a large and growing workload on long-term water sector frameworks. Their work covers clean water assets including reservoirs, water towers and treatment facilities. They’re looking for a Contracts Manager to run a portfolio of water schemes across North London, Essex and East Anglia. They’re open on experience: they’ll consider established Contracts Managers and Senior Project Managers who already juggle multiple schemes and are ready to step up, with experienced colleagues to support them. The role Manage multiple water sector contracts to hit financial, safety, quality and environmental targets Lead pre-contract planning with the estimating team, then plan, programme and resource contracts Lead and develop engineers, supervisors and site teams Accept, approve and issue contracts and subcontracts, and give technical and contractual advice Liaise and negotiate with clients, consulting engineers and subcontractors Budget, monitor and control contract finances, including claims, variations, applications for payment and final accounts Ensure H&S and management system procedures are followed on every contractWhat we’re looking for Experience delivering projects in the water sector, ideally on clean water assets Experience as a Contracts Manager, or as a Senior Project Manager running multiple schemes and ready to step up Strong knowledge of NEC, CDM and SHEQ procedures Strong planning, financial and leadership skills SMSTS and CSCS Black Card Degree or NVQ Level 5 in civil engineering or construction (or equivalent) Professional membership (MICE, CEng, MCIOB, ICorr) achieved or working towards Full UK driving licence and based in North London, Essex or East AngliaWhat’s on offer £70,000–£90,000 depending on experience Car or car allowance Bonus Pension with employer matching Private healthcare and life assurance Generous holiday allowance Ongoing training and career developmentIf you’re a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager with water sector experience based in the East of England, we’d like to hear from you
