b Overview /b p In this Build role, you create and maintain repeatable defense-cloud accelerators used by ProServe, partners, and regional teams. You embed in live customer delivery to prove patterns, then codify outcomes into scalable infrastructure, pipelines, and enablement collateral. You help shape secure, best-practice architectures that scale across nations, aligning with the AWS defence-cloud go-to-market. You work hands-on with code and delivery teams to ensure credible, production-ready solutions. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Build and own accelerator codebases including Terraform, CI/CD, and container orchestration for the shared core /li li Set contribution standards and enforce Architecture Decision Records to maintain consistency with core platform /li li Prove patterns in live delivery by collaborating with ProServe and partner teams on funded engagements /li li Operate demo and reference platforms to support sales, partnerships, and accreditation /li li Automate evidence generation for compliance mappings to NATO, NCSC, and national frameworks /li li Create technical collateral (deployment guides, runbooks, architecture walkthroughs, accreditation templates) and run hands-on workshops for non-specialist teams /li li Deliver the roadmap by translating field demand into shipped capabilities and serving as a bridge to cross-functional stakeholders /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li 3+ years in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures /li li 10+ years IT development or consulting experience /li li Strong software engineering fundamentals (version control, automated testing, code review, CI/CD, containerization) /li li Experience in defence, national security or government cloud environments with secure-by-design patterns and data separation /li li Deep DevOps experience including CI/CD, GitOps, automated testing, release management, observability in regulated environments /li /ul ul li collaboration with cross-functional teams /li li ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly /li li enablement-focused communication /li li Terraform /li li CI/CD /li li container orchestration (Docker, ECS/EKS, Kubernetes) /li /ul
