Salary: £63,000 - 103,000 per year
Requirements
- Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
- Experience identifying security issues and risks, and developing mitigation plans
- Experience in industry-based security vulnerabilities identification, attack patterns, and remediation techniques
- Experience in scripting, programming, and security code reviewing in a common programming language
- Experience in troubleshooting systems issues, analyzing logs, or automating complex tasks using command line tools
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
- Experience applying threat modeling or other risk identification techniques, or equivalent
- Experience with security in service-oriented architectures/microservices and web services
- We need you to be a UK national and able to obtain and maintain a UK Government Security Clearance
Responsibilities
- Help build and manage services that detect and automate the mitigation of cybersecurity threats across our infrastructure
- Work with data scientists, software development engineers, and other security engineers across multiple teams to develop innovative security solutions
- Protect our cloud for all customers and preserve customer trust
- Use the full power and breadth of AWS technologies to build services that proactively protect customers from security threats
- Work with UK customers to operate and continuously improve industry-leading security programs and processes
- Manage the underlying security programs and processes for personnel security, physical and logical accreditations, education, awareness and training, assurance, and cyber security
- Interact with senior stakeholders, including CISOs, CTOs, their staffs, and our senior leadership
- Mentor junior engineers, data scientists, and engineers from non-traditional backgrounds through one-on-one mentoring and code reviews
