The Amazon Web Services (AWS) sales organization is looking for an experienced Solutions Architect Leader to grow and lead a team of Solutions Architects who support Global Banks head-quartered in the UK. In this role you and your team will partner with sellers as part of an account team, to drive business outcomes for your customers. You will lead, motivate, and coach your team in developing relationships with technical executives, guide customers in using architecture best practices, partner with product teams to invent new solutions on behalf of your customers, develop internal processes. You will also coach your team in scaling their learnings through internal and external publications and speaking engagements. Key job responsibilities
- Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Solutions Architects
- Coach Solutions Architects in the skills needed to work with FS customers
- As a key member of the Solutions Architecture Leadership team, ensure success in building, migrating and modernizing applications, software and services on AWS
- Educate customers at Executive level on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud and to maximise value from AI.
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS Solutions Architect community and customer teams serving FS customers
- Act as a technical liaison between customers, Service Teams and Support

Basic qualifications
- 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
Preferred qualification
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
