About the Role
As a Junior Sous Chef at Amazonico, you'll support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in managing kitchen operations while ensuring every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. You'll help lead and develop the team, contribute to menu creativity, and play a key role in delivering outstanding dining experiences.
You will:
- Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen
- Ensure the highest levels of food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Support with training and mentoring junior chefs
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Contribute to menu development and innovation
- Help manage stock levels, ordering, and kitchen organisation
- Lead by example during service and support the team with a hands-on approach
