Senior Accountant opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a established accountancy practice. Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of clients, including preparation of accounts and tax returns, providing tax planning advice, and managing client relationships.
• Managing and mentoring a team of junior accountants, providing guidance and support where necessary.
• Ensuring that all work is completed accurately and to a high standard within strict deadlines.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and identifying opportunities for business development.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA/AAT part qualified or fully qualified with at least 3 years UK accountancy practice experience (QBE will also be considered).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Strong technical accounting skills, with a good understanding of accounting standards and tax legislation.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience of managing and mentoring junior members of staff.
