Description
Amazon UK is seeking an experienced internal communications professional, focusing on corporate employees as a primary audience. This role is all about creating content and experiences that inform, inspire, and connect employees, fostering pride in working at Amazon.
Reporting to the Director of UK Communications, you\’ll develop and deliver communication strategies supporting Amazon\’s UK business. Thriving in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, the ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional judgment and the ability to work independently. You\’ll bring extensive experience in copywriting, event management, digital communication platforms, speechwriting, and campaign management.
Key job responsibilities
Develop and execute internal communications plans with clear narratives for UK corporate employees
Contribute to UK and international editorial calendars, adjusting based on data and trends
Write and edit content for various digital and physical communication channels
Own digital channels, including creating content for a weekly e-newsletter
Analyze data and insights to report on successes and learnings
Create and implement communication campaigns across multiple channels
Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
Manage our annual all-employee hybrid event end-to-end and an employee recognition program
Support crisis communications and anticipate potential risks
Champion the employee experience in all communications strategies
Contribute innovative solutions for process improvements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on employee campaigns
Basic Qualifications
– Bachelor\’s degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
– Experience in professional communications or public relations
Preferred Qualifications
– Experience in internal communications for a multinational company
– Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
– Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
– Experience developing creative approaches to varied communications challenges
– Outstanding attention to detail with high standards
