We are looking for a forward-thinking, strategically minded Senior Strategy Manager to join our European Strategy & Planning team. The Strategy & Planning team sits across Europe and is the interface with the US/International Marketing Strategy teams, US Studios and Programming teams. This team guides critical, highly varied and often ambiguous business decisions and this role requires a mix of strategic, analytical, intuitive and creative thinking. You will have strong stakeholder management to lead large/diverse groups of teams towards consensus and strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to drive projects forward with business leaders and earn trust with colleagues across the organization. This role guides critical business decisions across the marketing team and wider business through marketing measurement, performance, operational, and strategic analysis. Senior leadership depend heavily on the insights and perspectives from this role and team to inform important business decisions. You aren’t afraid to dive head first into data, developing interpretations and implications for the business.
Key job responsibilities
- Be the European lead for strategic marketing projects and initiatives, often leading these globally.
- Leading on long-term portfolio and investment planning processes, bringing together the European Portfolio strategy, partnering with Marketing Finance.
- Leading on long-term Global Original Portfolio planning processes for Europe with our US Studios.
- Partnering closely with the US Marketing Strategy and Programming teams to test and roll out projects in Europe.
- Reporting on macro marketing trends and learnings for the marketing organization that are impacting our long-term strategy.
- Leveraging customer insights, data, learnings and industry changes to identify and implement new marketing opportunities.
- Developing scalable systems, processes and mechanisms that find efficiencies across teams and drive better outcomes for our customers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables).
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements.
- Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership.
- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners.
- Experience communicating results to stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience in marketing.
