DESCRIPTION
Amazon Transportation Services Network Operations (ATS NetOps) team is looking for Senior Program Manager to own and implement strategic, cross-functional initiatives to improve the ATS network operations metrics and drive cost out initiatives. Programs in this domain will impact all miles in Europe, such as the first mile, Customer Fulfillment Centers, ATS Sort Centers as well as Last Mile Delivery Stations.
Key job responsibilities
– Lead network operations programs which either improve the end to end (E2E) network flow, or yield free cash flow for the wider organization
– Set and clarify the business requirements and targets with the team.
– Document and analyze standard and new processes for the team.
– Prepare, lead and standardize business reviews from multiple cadences (except DBRs and WBRs)
– Set up Governance mechanisms for the team (internal) and act as the STL for other teams on all planning cycle horizons (OP1, OP2, SPS_
– Work with teams across EU region to build and secure alignment from stakeholders.
A day in the life
As a Senior PM, you will be working on multiple large-scale initiatives. You will drive highly ambiguous and complex problems to deliver actionable results and collaborate with other teams to maximize impact. The role is inherently cross-functional and the responsibilities include working across organizations and engaging with other Project/Program Managers, Senior Leadership from Sort Centers, etc.
– Will lead and organize business review documents.
– Will challenge and lead the governance related to project trackers (PMO) by stablishing standards for the team.
– Will seek cost-out opportunities across the teams and communicate with finance for validation and project management.
About the team
Amazon Transportation Services (EU ATS) is a high-powered creative team which is shaping the transportation planning and execution within the Middle Mile operations network. This team develops and applies innovative transportation management concepts to improve and enhance the transportation network and bring the best customer experience through reliability and cost efficiencies.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, transportation, business, finance or similar.
– Relevant experience in program or project management (PMP certification)
– Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
– Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
– Domain of at least 2 European languages (B1+)
-Ability to travel to Luxembourg office 30% of the time
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience leading process improvements
– SQL
– Six Sigma certification
