The Amazon Advertising business is rapidly growing. Our teamβs mission is to accelerate this growth through advanced software engineering, data engineering, and business intelligence. We are part of the Sales Technology team within Global Sales Operations, focused on delivering top-tier products and data solutions to enhance Amazon Advertising Sales team effectiveness worldwide. We develop sales enablement tools to provide the sales team with comprehensive customer information and potential for upselling, minimizing inefficiencies.
We are seeking a Sr. Salesforce Developer to revolutionize CRM for the Ads Sales team. This role involves ownership of end-to-end product development, including stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, project management, and scalable development. The ideal candidate will have experience building CRM products and APIs from scratch with minimal guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop solutions in Salesforce.com using Force.com, VisualForce, APEX, Lightning Web Components, Web Services, and APIs.
- Manage all aspects of architecture, design, development, security, best practices, integration, deployment (CI/CD), release architecture, and automation testing.
- Support cross-system integrations within Salesforce and other cloud platforms like AWS.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Product teams, and external clients to deliver solutions that meet business needs, enhance user experience, and deliver value.
- Analyze and plan system enhancements, translating requirements into well-architected Salesforce solutions.
- Identify opportunities to leverage Salesforce innovatively to improve processes and support scaling.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience programming in at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
- Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
- Experience working with Linux/Unix systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with distributed systems at scale.
