Within the AWS WW Commercial Sales (WWCS) organization, the Sales Strategy and Operations team is responsible for supporting Leadership, Sales, and Operational teams in achieving organizational objectives and driving continuous improvements in field productivity. We own and deliver “run the business” (RTB) operational cadences, build new mechanisms to support organizational growth and scale, and drive organizational initiatives.

AWS is looking for a Sales Operations Manager to join their Global Sales Strategy & Operations team in Europe North. This role combines hands‑on analytics with operational excellence, where you’ll use data analysis and modeling to support Sales Leaders and their teams. You’ll play a key role in maintaining business health and driving data‑informed decisions across the region. This role combines technical expertise with business acumen to analyze complex datasets from multiple sources. You’ll be instrumental in delivering monthly reports and conducting specialized business analyses that directly impact our decision‑making processes.

  • Data Analysis & Insights
    • Conduct comprehensive analysis of diverse datasets to uncover meaningful business insights
    • Design and deliver both regular and on‑demand business analytics to meet stakeholder requirements
  • Strategic Planning & Reporting
    • Maintain monthly health of the business models
    • Create and manage various financial modeling projects
    • Extract and analyze data using Excel and other data management platforms
  • Metrics & Performance Management
    • Monitor and evaluate existing performance metrics
    • Identify opportunities for new metrics development
    • Transform complex data into actionable recommendations
  • Business Intelligence
    • Deliver strategic insights to guide business decisions
    • Provide data‑driven recommendations through detailed analysis
    • Create customized reports to address specific business needs

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership
