We are looking for a motivated apprentice to join the Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team, working on complex automated equipment in a live fulfilment centre. This role is part of a 36‑48 month Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering (Mechatronics Maintenance).
Key Responsibilities
- Perform proactive and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Carry out reactive repairs, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting of automated systems.
- Use advanced tools and techniques to maximise equipment effectiveness and reduce downtime.
- Modify and upgrade existing equipment to maintain performance standards.
- Uphold health and safety policies and practices during all maintenance tasks.
- Engage in continuous improvement projects and suggest long‑term solutions.
Required Qualifications
- UK national or eligible to work in the UK for the full duration of the apprenticeship starting September 2026.
- Minimum of 3 GCSEs (grades 9‑4 / A‑C) in Maths, English and a science/technology subject.
- 18 years of age or older before commencement.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a get‑things‑done attitude.
- Comfortable working in a shift environment (days, nights and weekends).
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 GCSEs at grades 9‑4 / A‑C including Maths, English and a science/technology subject.
- T‑Level, A‑Levels or equivalent with a bias to engineering or technology.
