AWS is at the forefront of cloud computing and provides IT infrastructure services. The successful candidate will join the AWS Sales and Marketing Legal team and work with legal colleagues and cross-functional partners to manage and run projects of varying complexity and size.

Responsibilities

  • Use program management skills to support the legal team by creating and managing tools, educating and coaching legal colleagues on project management, and designing projects for global roll-out.
  • See the big picture and incorporate problem solving, strategic thinking, and tactical execution with ownership of improving the team’s systems and processes.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information; work effectively with people at all levels.
  • Collaborate with legal colleagues and the PMO’s customers on projects of varying size through project meetings, email, and messaging; coordinate with colleagues across geos (e.g., EMEA and APJC) as needed.
  • Engage in projects such as process improvement, tool builds, creating reporting mechanisms, and updating internal sites; ensure stakeholders are informed about deliverables, timelines, and other pertinent information.
  • Apply writing skills to share project updates, draft PRFAQs, and other documents as needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Experience in program or project management
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to clearly communicate across all levels of the organization, and influence others

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP
  • Experience analyzing data to drive decisions
  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver both strategic and tactical results from inception to completion
