The Worldwide Grocery Stores Private Brands International team manage and develop our by Amazon grocery consumables brand for both the UK and pan EU, offering a mix of everyday essentials, local favourites and seasonal items we think our customers will want and love, all at great prices. The Worldwide Grocery Stores Private Brands International team is looking for a motivated Product Developer with a strong customer focus, passion for great quality food and with the drive and resilience to deliver results. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and food product development skills to be part of our dynamic growing grocery team.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Product Developer, you will be responsible for the development of food products through all stages of the product lifecycle from insight through to product planning, development, specifications, artwork and launch. You will use customer data and insight to inform product and ranging decisions.
- Manage the development and product lifecycle of grocery products under the by Amazon brand, including range architectures, adherence to brand values while setting and maintaining the highest quality standards and managing the critical path.
- Constantly strive to simplify processes, maintain frugality and deliver results against commercial guardrails whilst upholding a high quality bar.
- Demonstrate clear and articulate communication skills and complex stakeholder management; build and manage long-term relationships with a broad portfolio of vendors.
The team works cross-functionally on projects that require a strong detail-oriented executional focus, problem solving drive, and proven ability to work autonomously. Leveraging a background in culinary product development, the ideal candidate has a well-developed palate, a clear understanding of the grocery retail market, food trends and innovation. You will be passionate about food with extensive experience in grocery retail and bringing new products to market.

Basic Qualifications- Experience in customer-facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services.
- Experience working directly in customer implementations.
- Experience in consumer products and have completed at least two product life cycles.
- Experience in a Product Development role, including management of adherence to critical paths and brand standards.
- Experience in retail.
- Experience using customer insights and data to deeply understand target customers and dive deep.
- Experience working cross functionally across several teams.
- Experience in food industry with relevant product development experience.
- Experience of developing products in a product lifecycle.
