Salary: £60,000 - 110,000 per year
Requirements:
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby
- Experience utilizing AWS cloud solutions in a DevOps environment
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline build processes
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems, or operating highly available, distributed systems for data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets
- Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, electronic system design, and decision making
- Experience in network fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, switching, and HTTP
- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Experience with automation and version control tools, or experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems and web security
- Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
- Knowledge of a front-end language such as JavaScript, CSS, or HTML
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement systems that support our Live OTT delivery
- Develop tooling and automation to scale our Live Operations
- Grow monitoring capabilities and improve systems reliability
- Develop operational metrics and maintain service level agreements
- Provide escalation support for incoming trouble tickets
- Work with other teams and engineers to integrate into the broader Live Ops environment
- Review operational dashboards and alerts to ensure live services are healthy
- Diagnose and resolve latency spikes, availability drops, and other live service issues
- Enhance automation scripts and improve device monitoring workflows
- Test changes in staging environments to reduce manual intervention during live events
- Collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot priority tickets and deploy fixes before major events
- Design monitoring solutions that scale with our growing live sports portfolio
