As a Partner Account Manager within the AWS Public Sector team, you will join a friendly and supportive team and have the exciting opportunity to help execute on our strategy to build mind share and drive adoption of AWS services across AWS’s most strategic business partners and their customers.
Your responsibilities will include driving executive and field relationships with leading partners practically impacting Public Sector AWS adoption. By establishing and growing business and technical relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with these accounts, you will help to drive overall end customer adoption with the Public Sector segments.
The ideal candidate will possess both a business background that enables them to engage at the CxO level, as well as a customer facing background that enables them to easily interact with public sector customers and AWS team members. They should also have a demonstrable ability to think big about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to convey compelling value propositions which help partners deliver sustainable business value and assist customers in accomplishing their mission.
Key job responsibilities
Strategic Partner Development
– Drive strategic relationships with key public sector-focused consulting partners in Singapore
– Develop and execute comprehensive partner business plans to accelerate AWS adoption in government, education, and nonprofit sectors
Business Development & Revenue Growth
– Meet or exceed assigned revenue targets through partner-led opportunities
– Identify and develop new business opportunities within the public sector ecosystem
– Create joint go-to-market strategies with partners to expand AWS\’s market presence
Partner Enablement
– Lead partners through AWS Partner Network (APN) program advancement and certification requirements
– Drive partner competency development in key public sector workloads and solutions
– Enable partners to effectively position and deliver AWS solutions to public sector customers
Public Sector Expertise
– Provide thought leadership on public sector digital transformation initiatives
– Navigate complex regulatory and compliance requirements in the public sector space
– Stay current with public sector procurement processes and requirements
Program Management
– Develop and manage partner investment plans and incentive programs
– Track and report on partner performance metrics and KPIs
– Coordinate internal resources to support partner success
Stakeholder Management
– Collaborate with AWS sales teams to align partner and direct sales efforts
– Work cross-functionally with solutions architects, professional services, and product teams

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years professional experience
– Bachelor\’s degree required (MBA preferred)
– Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and drive results with minimal supervision
– Cloud technology expertise
