Job Overview
You’ll be part of the Amazon warehouse team that handles the big stuff – those unique customer orders likebig screen TVs, furniture, appliances, and more.You’ll be trained on how to use technology and depending on the location, you may also be trained to handle these heavy bulk items with poweredindustrial trucks (PIT).
Some of your duties may include
- Receive, sort, and put away heavy and bulky inventory
- Load boxes into trucks for shipment
- Use technology like handheld devices
- View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
- You may operate PIT that reaches heights up to 12m. Equipment training and certification are provided free of cost.
You’ll also need to be able to:
- Lift up to 15kg (solo) and 23kg (team lift)
- Use safe practices and methods to handle products heavier than 15kg
- Stand and walk, as well as push, pull, squat, bend, and reach frequently during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items arounds
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
Additional Requirements
Candidates must be 18 years or older and proficient in German and/or English, with the ability to understand and adhere to all jobrequirement and safety guidelines.
