This role is in the Startup Solutions Architecture team, where you will help customers create value with technology, design cloud‑native reference architectures, and drive adoption of AWS services for fast‑growing startups.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to accelerate their projects and recommend best‑practice architectures aligned with their long‑term business outcomes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for startups, shaping guidance from their priorities and adding value with AWS and partner solutions.
- Capture and share the voice of the customer to influence the roadmap of new features and services for AWS, and contribute to technical content such as white papers, code samples, and blog posts.
- Evangelize and educate about AWS technology through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, or conferences.
- Collaborate with internal teams and experts to craft highly‑scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that solve customers’ business problems.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience within software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics, or a related technology domain.
- Experience designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
- Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
- Experience with AI/ML technologies.
- Relevant technical degree (Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing, developing or operating reliable and scalable cloud‑native solutions, platforms, and software.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical choices to business and technology stakeholders.
- A passion for technology and learning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within software development or Internet‑related industries.
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Experience with AWS technologies from a DevOps perspective.
- Experience or familiarity with the startup ecosystem.
- Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS and/or AWS certification (Solutions Architect Associate or Professional).
- Expertise in one or more of the following: DevOps, Containers, Big Data Solutions, Serverless, Networking, Security, Databases, IoT, AI/ML, Cloud Migration, and IT Transformation.
- Experience in a customer‑facing role or a role that involved public speaking.
