Amazon Leo is building the world's most advanced satellite broadband network to deliver fast, affordable connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO), Amazon Leo will help close the digital divide by delivering reliable broadband to consumers, businesses, and government agencies globally.
The Consumer Europe team is responsible for bringing Amazon Leo to residential customers across the region through two channels: direct-to-consumer (B2C) and indirect-to-consumer (B2B2C). The indirect channel delivers Amazon Leo services through partnerships with telecommunications operators and internet service providers (ISPs) who own the customer relationship while leveraging Amazon Leo's technology infrastructure.
We are seeking a Customer Success Manager (CSM) to own the commercial performance and partner relationships across our European Consumer indirect portfolio. You will own the customer relationship across a number of Consumer indirect partnerships, primarily in Central Europe and Amazon's emerging European markets. This role is both strategic and operational; you will shape partner requirements, validate deals, support onboarding, and own the post-launch commercial relationship with accountability for revenue, customer experience, and long-term partner success.
Beyond day-to-day partner management, you will help define how the regional indirect team operates; building mechanisms, establishing ways of working, and creating frameworks for scalable partner engagement across Europe. This position may require access to export-controlled information (ECI) subject to EAR and ITAR. Final employment decision is contingent upon satisfactory completion of export control screenings and obtaining any necessary export licenses or approvals, based on nationality, citizenship, and other factors considered by applicable export control regulations.
Key job responsibilities:
- Influence strategy for Amazon Leo with specific focus on indirect-to-consumer business (B2B2C)
- Drive partner performance through hands-on relationships with consumer distribution partners
- Track sell-through performance, identify growth opportunities, and ensure partners are executing against agreed business plans and targets
- Lead formal strategic meetings to review commercial performance, success metrics, and future goals
- Work with internal subject matter experts to gather information, synthesize business and concepts, build strategic business metrics, and write original content that drives decision-making at the highest levels of the organization
- Adept at thinking strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English, and have the ability to take direction in English
- Experience working in partner management within e-commerce or technology sectors
- Experience with P&L responsibility and delivering strong financial results
- Experience in forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting financial results, or experience in commercial finance business partnering or FP&A
- Experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions, or experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Senior Leadership
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with business partners
- Master's degree (MBA or related discipline), or Bachelor's degree or above
- Experience with customer relationship management, especially C-suite level customer engagement
- Knowledge of data analytics with tools such as Tableau, SQL, Quick-sight
- Experience working and contributing to project playbooks, building schedules, managing issues/risks, establishing communication plans and stakeholder management
- Experience in satellite communications, fixed wireless access, or broadband connectivity services
- Experience launching and scaling indirect distribution partnerships across European countries
- Understanding of subscription lifecycle models, net revenue retention, and partner economics
- Fluency in one or more additional European languages (German, Polish, Czech, French, Dutch, Portuguese or similar)
