This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sr. Vendor Manager interested in the Music industry and innovating for music fans, while continuing to flex their Retail muscle with strategic Physical Music (Vinyl/CD) vendors in the UK. This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract position.
Key job responsibilities:
- Manage the Physical Music vendors in the UK
- Partner with UK Label relations teams to launch Artist partnerships that grow the fan base
- Develop the Dropship program for Music vendors in the UK
- Partner with EU Music VMs to share learning, scale best practices
A day in the life:
This role will entail managing Physical Music vendors P&L and partnering closely with Amazon Music (digital) teams to deliver value through artist partnerships.
About the team:
Music Merch is a strategic priority for Amazon Music, central to fostering fandom. As the music landscape and super fan behaviour is continuously evolving in the UK, there is much room to test, learn, and scale exciting fan offers in a mature category like CDs and Vinyl.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in account management, project/program management, or buying
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
- Experience with business analysis and P&L management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working at a record label, artist management company, artist talent agency, or similar field within the music industry
- Experience in vendor management
