Network Flow and Technologies (NFT) is a centralized team serving Fulfillment Centers (FC) across Europe. We seek End-To-End net benefit by minimizing under-the-roof costs for FCs and maximizing opportunities for FCs to deliver customer orders within 24 hours (1D delivery). We dive deep into the metrics and identify and address opportunities within the existing systems and processes. We are process experts who simplify, standardize, and improve processes by using our expertise and strategic position within Amazon Fulfillment to innovate on behalf of the customer. We provide standard ways of working and facilitate decision making for FCs by delivering best-in-class products. We collaborate with external teams by partnering with senior FC leaders and external teams to deliver products and processes that address improvement opportunities impacting and influencing from overarching planning processes through the execution of the shift.

We are seeking an exceptional individual to play a pivotal role in the way we measure and optimize the speed at which we deliver to our customers. This individual will lead the expansion of existing reporting into new countries within the EU, and go beyond the 1Day speed impact scope (Same Day and 2D). We are seeking someone to lead speed differentiation initiatives and identify opportunities to enable the business make informed decisions and ensure end-to-end net benefit. As a process improvement specialist within our team, you will serve as a subject matter expert in continuous process improvement, focusing on the network shipment flow from upstream systems through the FC and to customer delivery. The successful candidate will be passionate about inventing on behalf of our customers.

  • Deepening understanding and experience of operational processes and workflows, diving into the systems and the Amazon supply chain.
  • Use and share insights with partner teams to influence and build a roadmap of projects to maximize end-to-end benefits.
  • Leverage analytical skills to interpret large datasets and uncover actionable insights for known and unknown problems.
  • Develop clear and detailed functional specifications and business cases based on identified business requirements.
  • Implement rigorous problem-solving approaches and support research and analysis to drive product and project development schedules from design to release.
  • Design and execute implementation plans, piloting and testing new solutions, and facilitating roll-outs across broader Ops organizations at country, cross-country and cross-regional levels.
  • Manage critical relationships with external partners and contractors throughout project phases.
  • Demonstrate strong hands-on project and operations management, taking ownership of project components while adapting to varying tasks.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in engineering, project management, operations, logistics, supply chain or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience pulling and reporting data from databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems).
  • Experience working in an operations, supply chain, transportation, project management or management consulting role.
  • Experience handling multiple competing priorities and complex projects with multiple stakeholders (e.g. defining accurate network expansion plans, vendor development, quality assurance, design and cost improvement, team and stakeholder engagement).
